Originally from Danville in Southwest Virginia, Beth has performed in such prestigious DC-area venues as the Kennedy Center, Woolly Mammoth, Ford’s Theatre, the Olney Theatre Center, and the Folger Shakespeare Theatre, among others, since moving to Washington, DC in the spring of 2003. Prior to her move, Beth lived and worked for over seven years in New York City, where she performed in many productions with companies such as Todo Con Nada, Gorilla Repertory, Vital Signs Theatre for their annual New Play Festival, the New York International Fringe Festival, and with The Ground Floor Theatre Lab, of which Beth was a founding company member. Her television appearances include AS THE WORLD TURNS, ALL MY CHILDREN, and ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Beth completed her MFA in Acting from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Professional Actor’s Training Program: her course of study included mask training, Acting Styles and Shakespeare, Lessac and Linklater voice work, physical movement including hand-to-hand combat, martial arts, and dance, and core acting classes six times a week with resident and guest faculty. While completing her MFA, Beth worked with guest directors from around the country in many productions at PlayMakers Repertory Theatre Company and taught classes to undergraduate acting students. She has a BFA in Acting from Virginia Commonwealth University. Beth has appeared in dozens of industrials and training videos for clients such as the FBI, the US Postal Service, Roche Medical, McNeil Industries, and many, many others. She has appeared in DC-area commercials for news affiliate NBC-4, and in independent films. At present, Beth divides her time between Washington and New York.
